The summit was attended by Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Ahmed Issa, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Mr. Hossam Haiba, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, and Mr. / Basil Rahmi, CEO of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency, as well as representatives of some international bodies, and a number of investors, entrepreneurs, and owners of global and local startups. During his participation in the summit, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly delivered a speech that he began by welcoming the attendees, including ministers, officials, entrepreneurs, and investors. From the youth of Egypt, saying: Allow me to express first of all my happiness at being present at this very important event. Before I went on stage, I saw examples of the creative works made by the youth of Egypt in the field of entrepreneurship.

The Prime Minister continued that, within the framework of the government’s plans to provide support to emerging companies by facilitating access to financing, which is the most prominent challenge facing entrepreneurs, especially in the early stages of their projects, Egypt Ventures (which is one of the investment entities established by the Egyptian government to support the entrepreneurship sector) has been restructured. in Egypt) to become more effective as a leading investment platform focused on supporting startups in Egypt, and has invested in many startups so far. This step ensures the provision of appropriate funding for pioneering projects, in addition to providing technical support and specialized consultations in cooperation with many service providers, whether governmental or non-governmental agencies.

The Prime Minister pointed out that in addition to the above, the government has supported entrepreneurs and startup companies in several fields. Including agriculture, industry, and digital transformation, through business incubators and accelerators, programs to support innovation and competitiveness, and capacity building programs. In addition to providing non-financial and advisory services to entrepreneurs and emerging, small and medium-sized companies through business development services centers spread across most governorates of the Republic. The state has also supported entrepreneurs in the field of financial technology through several training programs and business acceleration programs, as well as a regulatory laboratory for financial technology applications.

He also pointed out the launch of electronic platforms to be a window for entrepreneurs, decision makers and investors, allowing each of them to obtain services that suit their needs. An e-learning center has also been activated on the Egypt Entrepreneurship Center platform, which contains more than 72 training programs available in four languages: Arabic, English, and French, in addition to sign language.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly pointed out that his talk with entrepreneurs and investors today in the Grand Egyptian Museum was an incentive for Egypt’s youth to explore their abilities to achieve innovative achievements, inspired by the effects of ancient Egyptian civilization and its unique contributions that dazzled the entire world as a result of its uniqueness in the “innovation” element.
