Dr. Assem Al-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, followed up on an aspect of the executive position of the units of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in the cities of Sadat, 10th of Ramadan, and Gardens of the Capital.
The Minister of Housing indicated that the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” launched by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, aims to provide adequate and affordable housing for various income segments of citizens, whether in new cities or governorates. The initiative targets 3 axes of income earners, which are “the low-income axis.” Or low-income, middle-income, and upper-medium or distinguished axis. Plans are also being made to provide appropriate job opportunities and services in the places where the units are implemented, with the aim of reaching integrated and planned urban communities.
Dr. Assem Al-Gazzar stressed the need to intensify labor and equipment at the various project sites in the initiative, push work on utility and road projects, and implement service projects in conjunction with the implementation of the units, to deliver the units to their beneficiaries with full facilities and services, stressing the withdrawal of work from companies proven to fail in implementation after completing all procedures. And not assigning work to it in the future.
The minister stated that the “Housing for All Egyptians” presidential initiative is implementing green housing model housing units, where through this type of units, environmentally friendly building materials are used that work to save about 25% of energy and water use, in addition to the use of distinctive designs, with the aim of applying standards. Sustainability in project implementation.
In the same context, Engineer Yasser Abdel Halim, head of the Sadat City Development Authority, undertook an inspection tour during which he was accompanied by officials of the agency, to follow up on the work and projects being implemented under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians.”
Engineer Yasser Abdel Halim began the tour by going through the implementation work of the remaining buildings of the fifth phase within the initiative of the President of the Republic, “Housing for All Egyptians,” in the Al-Firdous neighborhood, with 96 residential buildings with an area of 90 meters per unit and including 3 rooms and a hall, and a residential building with an area of 75 meters per unit, which includes two rooms and a hall. He also inspected the initiative’s buildings in the Al-Nour district, with 51 residential buildings, a model of 90 meters per unit, including 3 rooms and a hall per unit.
Engineer Yasser Abdel Halim stressed the speed of work and the speedy completion of all work, whether the interior finishes of the units, the coordination of the general site and the handover of the buildings, as well as the work of implementing communications, electricity and road networks in accordance with the delivery plan.
In the city of 10th of Ramadan, the agency’s officials followed up on the completion of the ongoing work at the site of the project to implement 98 buildings in the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in the east of the Andalus neighborhood, with an area of 90 meters per unit. Engineer Ammar Mandour pointed out that 255 buildings are currently being implemented in the medium housing axis, with areas of (100 m – 110 m – 120 m) per unit, under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians.”
