“Central Bank”: Arab countries’ investments in the Egyptian market increased to $2.4 billion during the first half of 2023/2024.

The Central Bank revealed that net investment flows from Arab countries in the Egyptian market reached $2.460 billion during the half of 2023/2024.

The Central Bank added in the statistical bulletin report that investments in Arab countries recorded $1.446 billion during the second quarter, and about $1.014 billion during the first quarter of the year.

The United Arab Emirates topped the investments of Arab countries, with net flows amounting to about $951.2 million during the second quarter of the year 2023/2024.

During the second quarter, Saudi investments recorded $154.5 million, $131.7 million for Kuwait, and $76.4 million for Qatar, $51.4 million.

The Central Bank of Egypt revealed that net foreign investment flows in Egypt reached $3.208 billion at the end of the second quarter of 2023, compared to $2.321 billion at the end of the first quarter of the year.

The Central Bank said in its monthly statistical bulletin report that investments achieved an inflow of $5.847 billion and an outflow of about $2.639 billion during the second quarter of 2023/2024.
