As a trailblazer in mobile imaging, OPPO is leading a paradigm shift by prioritizing aesthetics over conventional technical specifications. Recently, OPPO hosted a “imagine IF Arabia Photo Walk” event, inviting media and KOLs from the region to foster a deeper understanding of the R&D stories behind OPPO’s imaging prowess, experience #ShotonOPPO firsthand, and celebrate the artistry of mobile photography.
OPPO leads the aesthetic revolution in mobile imaging
OPPO has long been the pioneer of mobile photography, earning acclaim from both professionals and the wider audience. In 2024, the OPPO Find X7 Ultra debuted world’s first Quad Main Camera and dual periscope lens, alongside the new HyperTone Camera System. Meanwhile, the OPPO Reno series is proudly known as ‘The Portrait Expert’ and boasts over 72 million users around the globe.
As a pioneer in mobile imaging, OPPO is leading a revolution by following aesthetics rather than relying on industry traditions of certain technical specifications. This new approach allows the objective technical process to serve the subjective aesthetic of users. The Photography Aesthetics Feature Quantification Lab is made up of 10% photography technicians, 50% professional photographers, and 40% color experts. Through feature breakdown, solutions planning, and precise tuning, OPPO has created a new photography technology development system, ushering in a new era in computational photography.
HyperTone Camera System co-developed with Hasselblad.
Co-developed with legendary camera manufacturer Hasselblad, OPPO’s HyperTone Camera System consists of HyperTone All Main Camera System, HyperTone Image Engine, and HyperTone ProXDR Display, to deliver end-to-end system-level imaging capabilities. In addition to Find series flagships, the technical architecture of HyperTone Camera System will empower multiple OPPO product series including the Reno11 series and more, for flagship imaging experience with consistent aesthetics and exceptional quality.
