The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) is accepting applications for the third round of the Digital Egypt Cubs Initiative (DECI). The program is open to students entering the first year of preparatory school through to the second year of secondary school for the 2024-25 academic year.
Required Documents:
1. Computerized Birth Certificate: Original and a copy.
2. Official Transcript: For the 2023-24 academic year, stamped and issued by the school or Directorate of Education.
3. School Enrollment Statement: For the previous or upcoming school year, stamped and issued by the school, addressed to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology – Digital Egypt Cubs Initiative.
4. Parent’s Valid National ID: Copy of the front and back (father or mother).
5. Declaration and Undertaking Form: Available on DECI website, to be filled out manually and signed by the student and guardian, including a recent colored personal photo of the student (size 4×6 with a white background).
Participants currently enrolled in the second round of DECI or in the Digital Egypt Marvels Initiative (DEMI) who wish to join the third round of DECI must wait until the current training year concludes. Upon announcement of the results, they will automatically become eligible for the next level without the need to submit a new application.
