EUI, Lancaster University Team up on ‘iSkills: Career Catalyst Program’

by Ahmed Hassaan

Egypt University of Informatics (EUI), in collaboration with Lancaster University, has launched the “iSkills: Career Catalyst Program.” It is funded by the British Council and will take place from August 18 to October 9 at EUI campus, New Administrative Capital.

The program is designed to empower individuals with the skills, experience, and knowledge they need to thrive in the evolving job market. It is open for fresh graduates, particularly from business faculties nationwide, who completed their degrees in 2023 or onward and achieved at least a “good” grade, as well as senior-year students.

Crafted to bridge the gap between academia and industry, iSkills begins with foundational training in self-awareness and essential job preparation skills. It progresses to advanced training in data analysis, covering everything from basic data handling to advanced visualization techniques. The curriculum also covers vital soft skills like interpersonal communication, leadership, teamwork, and sustainability practices.
The training culminates in a capstone project where graduates apply their skills to solve practical workplace challenges, demonstrating their readiness for professional success. Participants will receive certificates of completion at the end of the program.
EUI is the first ICT-specialized university in the Middle East and Africa region. It was founded by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at the Knowledge City in the New Administrative Capital. Serving as a leading academic institution, EUI provides world-class educational programs to meet the labor market’s needs for specialists in cutting-edge ICT fields.
