Industries Company to provide the latest high-quality devices
E& Misr, a leading provider of communications and information technology services, announced the start of manufacturing the first router with 4.5G technology locally in Egypt, in cooperation with the Egyptian Silicon Industries Company “SICO Egypt”, as part of the Egyptian government’s orientation to localize the electronics industry and increase the percentage of locally manufactured products.
This step comes within E& Misr’s strategy that aims to enhance its presence in the Egyptian market by providing innovative technological products in cooperation with major international and local companies. The new router, designed by the Chinese company TOZED, is one of the most prominent results of this cooperation.
Through this orientation, E& Misr seeks to meet the growing demand for high-quality routers, by providing locally manufactured products with the highest specifications and standards of performance and quality, in addition to reducing reliance on imports and providing innovative technological solutions to customers in Egypt.
Eng. Ahmed Yahya, CEO of the Commercial Sector at E& Misr, expressed his happiness with manufacturing the first local router in Egypt. He said: “We at E&Egypt are proud of this step that enhances the local market’s ability to provide the required devices at competitive prices, which contributes to saving hard currency and supporting the Egyptian economy.”

Mohamed Salem, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Silicon Manufacturing Company “SICO Egypt”, expressed his happiness to cooperate with E&Egypt to manufacture the first local router. He said: “The company works under the umbrella of the state to achieve its goals of increasing the percentage of local products in the Egyptian market. Through this approach, it seeks to enhance local manufacturing capabilities and provide advanced technological products that meet market needs with high quality and competitive prices.
He explained that the company is committed to developing the skills of its local workforce and is working to employ the latest technologies in manufacturing processes, which contributes to driving the national economy and reducing dependence on imported products, which the company succeeded in by providing the first smart mobile phone made in Egypt, and now the company provides the first 4.5G router designed and manufactured entirely in Egypt.
