As a new step in the digital transformation of the Egyptian government, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry, the financial facilities operating technology company “E-Finance” launched the Egypt Industrial Digital Platform, including services for allocating industrial lands through the investment map, issuing operating licenses by notification, and annual follow-up services.
The platform provides electronic payment services through various payment channels, including bank cards and bank branches. Work is also underway to complete the launch of building permit issuance and industrial registry services. Many other services for the Ministry of Industry and its affiliated entities will be launched in successive versions of the platform. You can access the Egypt Industrial Digital Platform through the following link www.madein.eg.
Ibrahim Sarhan, Chairman and Managing Director of E-Finance for Financial and Digital Investments Group, owner of E-Finance Financial Facilities Operation Technology Company, stated that the company is proud of its pioneering national role in the digital transformation of various vital businesses in government agencies, and today it is achieving new successes in establishing and managing the Egypt Industrial Digital Platform, with the support of the rapid and serious steps taken by the Ministry of Industry towards digital transformation in order to serve investors and advance the Egyptian industrial sector.
He stressed that the efforts and recommendations taken by the Ministry, led by Lieutenant General Engineer Kamel Al-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, will contribute to pushing towards digital transformation in order to achieve a major leap in serving industrial investors, especially with the continuation of adding more services in the next launch stages of the Egypt Industrial Digital Platform as one of the most important and prominent aspects of communicating with investors and serving the sector in order to support transparency and accelerate the advancement of the industrial sector. The Egypt Industrial Digital Platform will contribute to facilitating the industrial investor and enabling electronic dealing without the need to go to any of the authorities, as it is intended for the platform to be the main channel for dealing between industrial investors and all parties. The platform will also automatically alert the investor of the dates for renewing licenses and documents when their expiration date approaches. The platform will provide the services the investor needs and all the information and documents required to perform the services. The platform also provides a secure account for the industrial investor that contains all the information and documents related to him and entered through it, in addition to keeping all service requests submitted through the platform with the status of each request. The results of land allocation will also be announced on the platform’s website, for the offered lands, through short text messages “SMS” to the applicant investors. We will later publish a detailed explanation of the evaluation criteria that have been adopted. The Ministry calls on all interested parties to follow the allocation results on the platform and ensure the transparency of the procedures followed.
