EUI, Lancaster University Conclude ‘iSkills: Career Catalyst Program’
Egypt University of Informatics (EUI), in
collaboration with Lancaster University, has concluded the “iSkills: Career Catalyst Program,” sponsored by the British Council. The program took place from August 18 to October 9 at the EUI campus, New Administrative Capital.
The program is part of EUI ongoing efforts to nurture promising talents among future leaders and support the ICT and data sectors. It targeted fresh graduates, particularly from business faculties nationwide, who completed their degrees in 2023 or onward and achieved at least a “good” grade, and senior-year students.
Approximately 45 trainees participated in the program, empowering them with the skills, experience, and knowledge necessary to thrive in the evolving job market. Participants received certificates of completion during the program’s closing ceremony.
Crafted to bridge the gap between academia and industry, iSkills began with foundational training in self-awareness and essential job preparation skills. It progressed to advanced training in data analysis, covering everything from basic data handling to advanced visualization techniques. The curriculum also covered crucial soft skills like interpersonal communication, leadership, teamwork, and sustainability practices.
EUI is the first ICT-specialized university in the Middle East and Africa region. It was founded by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at the Knowledge City in the New Administrative Capital. Serving as a leading academic institution, EUI provides world-class educational programs to meet the labor market’s needs for specialists in cutting-edge ICT fields.
