Dr. Assem Al-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, followed up on the executive position of the units of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in the cities of New Mallawi, New Minya, Hadayek Al-Asimah, May 15, and October 6, through periodic reports and the results of inspection tours of the project sites.

The Minister of Housing indicated that the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” launched by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, aims to provide adequate and affordable housing for various income segments of citizens, whether in new cities or governorates, as the initiative targets 3 segments of citizens with different incomes. These are “limited or low-income axis, middle-income axis, and upper-middle or distinguished axis,” and plans are also being made to provide appropriate job opportunities and services in the places where the units are being implemented, with the aim of reaching integrated and planned urban communities.
Dr. Assem Al-Gazzar stressed the need to intensify labor and equipment at the various project sites in the initiative, push forward work on utility and road projects, and implement service projects in conjunction with the implementation of the units, to deliver the units to their beneficiaries with full facilities and services.

In the same context, Engineer Walid Abdel Rahman Haggaji, head of the New City of Al-Fashn and Mallawi, inspected the site of the buildings of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in the new city of Mallawi, accompanied by officials of the agency and the projects.
The head of the agency and his companions also inspected the implementation of a basic education school with a capacity of 42 classrooms to provide services for those moving to live in the units, directing the intensification of work on ongoing projects, in addition to warning the implementing company to adhere to the timetable for implementation, in accordance with the specified technical specifications.
Engineer Ahmed Mustafa Mohamed, head of the New Minya City Authority, and the agency’s officials, reviewed the implementation work of 32 buildings in the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians – Middle-Income Axis,” which is being implemented in the city’s expansions.The head of the New Minya City Authority continued the internal and external finishing work in the buildings, as well as the main facilities in the same area, calling on the executing company to quickly complete the work and pay for the materials used and trained workers, in preparation for the city authority to launch “asphalt” road works in the same area until the infrastructure is provided. Essential in conjunction with the completion of the project.
Engineer Ammar Mandour, head of the Capital Gardens City Authority, inspected the work being implemented under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in an area of ​​2,350 acres. He also followed the implementation project of the Capital Gardens Police Department and the Youth Center project for the city, where the necessary equipment and machinery were provided to complete road works and supply raw materials. Necessary to spread the base layer and distribute the interlock necessary to complete the work.
The head of the agency indicated that the network of main and secondary roads in the city is being completed, and the work of numbering buildings in the areas that have been completed is being completed, and signs with street names are being placed to facilitate the residents, stressing the need to overcome any obstacles facing the operating companies to increase completion rates and finish these roads.
The tour also included following up on the city’s utility works (water, sewage, roads, electricity, and agriculture), and instructions were given to increase implementation rates in accordance with requirements, specifications, quality control, and to follow all occupational health and safety procedures.
In the same context, May 15 City Authority officials held a meeting to follow up on the executive position of the Narges Housing Project within the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians,” where directives were given to the necessity of conducting special experiments for drainage and water networks in buildings ready for privatization work in accordance with the delivery plan.
Engineer Ali Saad, Head of the City Authority, also reviewed all the obstacles facing implementation, and all departments were alerted to cooperate with the aim of overcoming these obstacles, each in its own capacity, with the necessity of progressing in all work according to the established plan.
In the road sector, all works were discussed, including coordinating the general site at the level of the entire project and demanding the creation of parking lots in the Narges housing area. In the agriculture sector, fruit trees and palm trees were planted at the main entrance to the Narges area. Coordination was also made to determine the tree fence surrounding the Narges area.
Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, head of the 6th of October City Development Authority, toured the presidential initiative project, “Housing for All Egyptians,” the medium housing axis and the upper-average housing axis, in the industrial separator area and the Fifth District, to follow up on the latest developments in the work and determine the implementation rates.
During his tour, Al-Najjar stressed to the relevant departments the need to alert companies implementing projects to increase completion rates, intensify labor, and adhere to technical requirements and specifications, as well as taking into account quality standards, occupational health and safety, and speedy completion of work delivery on time.
