In a step that reflects the state’s orientation towards adopting digital solutions in the education sector, Fawry, a leading company in banking technology and digital payments solutions, announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with the Supreme Council of Universities, under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education, with the aim of enhancing electronic collection services in a safe manner by relying on a set of advanced digital technological solutions.
This agreement comes within the framework of the shared vision of the Supreme Council of Universities and Fawry to improve and enhance the infrastructure related to electronic collection services in educational institutions in Egypt. It also reflects Fawry’s commitment to developing financial systems that are in line with the requirements of these institutions. The agreement also highlights the leading role of the Supreme Council of Universities in upgrading the educational system and facilitating administrative and financial procedures.
Under this agreement, Fawry provides solutions for collecting fees for various services of the Supreme Council of Universities, including but not limited to (services for collecting fees for aptitude tests, diploma and technical institute competitions, and faculty member services), through Fawry’s network, which includes more than 370,000 “POS” agents throughout the Arab Republic of Egypt, in addition to more than 280 Fawry Plus branches in all governorates and the myfawry application and various banking channels. Fawry provides payment services using bank cards through the website of the Supreme Council of Universities and all entities dealing with and participating with the Council, and cash payment services using the reference number through Fawry outlets and Fawry Plus branches throughout the Republic.
